Munira is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, with 9 years of experience in Pediatrics. She completed her Masters in Pediatric Physiotherapy from India in 2007.
Munira has always been passionate about working with children and has experience working with clients diagnosed with Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Hypotonia, Paediatric Orthopedic conditions and Movement Disorders. She has a special interest in Sensory integration Therapy and has partially completed the Sensory Integration Therapy (SIPT) Certification and has received NDT training. She is certified in Kineseotaping and is currently in the process of obtaining her CME Medek level 1 certification.
Munira is an excellent fit with our team at Hand Skills for Children. She offers support to our families who also have gross motor concerns either in consultation with our Occupational Therapists or via direct treatment sessions. She is an enthusiastic therapist who believes in bringing out the most beneficial outcomes for her clients. She endeavors to keep giving her best to help her clients achieve their goals.
